We welcome visitors to our community
Whether you are passing through or live in Lubbock, if you are looking for a Jewish community, please join us for services. You can also reach out to our rabbi or president at any time.
If you are interested in conversion, you are also welcome to join us for services any time. Make sure to also reach out to our rabbi.
If you are a student looking to learn more about Judaism, whether as part of a class or from your own personal interest, please contact us ahead of time so we may welcome you (email the Rabbi or the President). Our members are happy to answer questions that visitors may have. While there are no costs involved, we are a non-profit and donations are always appreciated, no matter how small or large.
If you are coming as part of a class assignment, please be aware of our customs and policies:
Do not take photos during services. You are welcome to do so before or after services.
Usually services are Fridays at 7:00pm. There are exceptions. Check our on-line Calendar for service times.
Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are not appropriate times to come and observe. If you choose to do so, please sit in the back and refrain from note-taking.
If you need “proof of attendance”, give the rabbi your email. She will email you thanking you for your attendance. (note: Sometimes services are led by the rabbi
at other times a congregant. In either case you are welcome to visit.
If a congregant is leading services, you can ask that person directly how they prefer to “prove attendance”: selfie or email.)
Finding our temple can be tricky, be sure to read the Directions.
